Apart from Bari Weiss's clear and obvious bias around anything to do with the state of Israel this article is super on point. And to the point of Bari, I really like her overall - I just wish she would acknowledge that's she's clearly biased when it comes to ME topics before commenting on them. Let's call it a "disclosure" of sorts.

That's a very interesting point. I just listened to her give an interview with Coleman Hughes and they touched a lot on her Jewish identity. I agree that she is partial to Israel and it effects her opinions, and probably some of what The Free Press covers. Is there something she gets wrong about Israel or the Middle East that you've noticed?

I think she gives a one-sided perspective without bringing in a guest to represent an opposing POV. For instance on anything related to Gaza or Iran. She doesn't do that on domestic topics where often she brings in people from both sides of the political spectrum when she covers stories. In other words she's does not allow the narrative to be challenged on this one topic but is actually quite open to dissent and debate on others. So ironically it's a form of censorship from someone who is quite against other types of censorship and built her whole FP identity and business around the (correct) narrative that she was censored at NYT.

That’s a good point. I hadn’t realized that. Is there anyone you think she should have to explain the side of Gaza or Iran. I follow Glenn Greenwald and he makes the anti-Israel case but I don’t find him very convincing.
